Types of Dentures
There are two types of dental dentures you may get if you need them. Your Sunrise Dentist will go over your options if they decide you need it.
- Parital Dentures
- Complete Dentures
A partial denture, or bridge, is attached to your permanent teeth to fill in where you are missing teeth. These dentures can be removable or you can have them fixed by attaching them with a crown. Partial dentures keep the appearance of a beautiful, healthy smile while also maintaining your proper alignment so your permanent teeth do not shift.
A complete denture replaces the entire top or bottom of your arch. This process takes a bit longer as your gums need to heal after a total tooth loss.
